Arrowtown RSA annually marks ANZAC Day and Armistice Day in association with the Queenstown RSA.


ANZAC Day – April 25

ANZAC – standing for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
ANZAC Day marks the landing of New Zealand and Australian troops on the Gallipoli Peninusula in 1915. It is held annually to commemorate all New Zealanders killed in war, and to honour all returned servicemen and women


Armistice Day

Marking the end of World War I Armistice Day is held on November 11. Armistice was declared at 11am, on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.
